    Default Arte

summary:Firenze, early 16th century. The birthplace of the Renaissance era, where art is thriving. In one small corner of this vast city, one sheltered girl's journey begins. She dreams of becoming an artist, an impossible career for a girl born into a noble family. In those days, art was an exclusively male profession, with woman facing strong discrimination. In spite of these challenges, Arte perseveres with hard work and a positive attitude!

hehe it's because France is the best country when you want to read comics...
Angouleme festival is at the end of the month. There will be a Matsumoto exhibition and the author of Blue Giant will be there.
I hope Paris will also have the exhibition like last year and i will try to have Shinishi Ishizuka autograph when he will be in Paris the 30th. Wish me luck :-)

The Venice part is nice and of course Arte character will help solving issues. I miss Leo though.

Very nice story. Do the chapters usually end with a quotation form her book? It's an interesting contrast to see the view of the rea 19th century Isabella and the one presented in the story.

Thank you for mentioning this author. I decided to read the book before reading the manga, so ordered it at my local bookstore. It takes two weeks for them to get me a copy -_-
